The International Blues Challenge has been held for over a quarter century in Memphis and features over 200 unsigned bands from around the world each year in January. Local blues clubs send their winners to the IBC, so it is truly a tremendous recognition for a band to win. This year, 220 bands represented 40 states and 13 countries.
